Home Need Rehab? Here's Houston's Top 5 Fixer Upper Homes

If you have the time and the talent, there are hundreds of fixer upper homes in the Houston area that can be turned for a profit.

HOUSTON, TX — It's been more than three months since Hurricane Harvey unleased its fury in the Houston area, and there are homes that flooded and need to be made new again. Many of these homes have already been gutted and need that talented soul to come in make the home new again. However, there are some homes that didn't flood at all, that are prime fixer uppers. Here are some of the top homes in the Houston area that need serious rehab.

This first home is in Spring, located at 22814 E. Fairfax Village Circle. Home flooded during Harvey, no work has been done since. County as assessed the property and determined damage is more than 50 percent of the value of the home and will require raising to rebuild.

The second home on the fixer upper tour is at 21722 Forest Glade Dr., in Humble. This home didn't escape the flooding from Hurricane Harvey either, and all it needs is you to make this fixer upper in Humble a masterpiece again. By the way, it has a pool too.

This home, located in Acres Home in Houston at 8213 James Franklin Street, didn't flood, but it needs some pretty serious home rehab to make it livable again. You can literally use your imagination to restore this one into something one of a kind.

This home is in Conroe, at 556 Brandon Road. Located in the prestigious golf course community of River Plantation, it can be yours if you are ready to invest a little sweat and hard work. Already demoed from the flooding and ready for rebuild. Complete with already replaced electrical, treated wood, double ply windows and a recently leveled foundation.

This last home is in Dickinson, at 1903 Deats Road. Like so many others, this home flooded during Harvey. However, it was the only time it has flooded since it was built in 1955. Gutted inside and dried out.
