Houston High School Football: Weekend Scores And Highlights

Keep up with all the high school football action and see if your favorite team can make it to the playoffs.

HOUSTON, TX — The high school football season is at the halfway mark and some teams have their eye on a playoff run. In Thursday night action, Summer Creek rolled to a 38-13 win over Pasadena Dobie, while Travis picked up its third consecutive win, defeating Elkins 40-21.

Humble continued it's quest for a district title defeating Pasadena Memorial 35-21, while Klein Collins shut out College Park 30-0.

The excitement continued Friday with Conroe rolling to a win over Klein Cain 42-27 , and Manvel winning big with a 69-0 victory over Northside. In other high school action Deer Park fell to Channelview 36-27, The Woodlands edged Klein Oak 21-19, and Oak Ridge defeated Klein Forest 49-14.

In other action, Langhan Creek defeated Bryan 28-14, Brazoswood fell to George Ranch 48-14, and Magnolia defeated Waller 61-28.

The football action continues at 6 p.m. Saturday with Clear Lake playing Dickinson, Willowridge travels to Sharpstown, Yates hosts Worthing, and Porter plays at Kingwood Park.
