Residents of Spring will go to the polls on Tuesday to vote on seven statewide constitutional amendments.

Election Day is Tuesday, and residents of Spring will be going to the polls to vote on seven statewide constitutional amendments. The amendments were passed by the state legislature but still have to be approved by voters.
So how do you cast your vote Tuesday in Spring? First, you need to find your polling place. Visit the Texas Secretary of State website and enter your address. The site will then provide the name of the facility, the address, and the polling hours, as well as the contact for general registrar information.
The propositions up for vote are:
Proposition One
If approved, it would grant property tax exemptions for disabled veterans or surviving spouses who received homes that had been donated by a charity for less than market value.

Proposition Two
If approved, it would make it easier for Texans to borrow against their home equity.
Proposition Three

If approved, government appointees who don't receive a salary and whose terms end without them being replaced will only have to serve until the next legislative session ends.
Proposition Four
If approved, courts will be required to let the state attorney general of any constitutional challenges to state law.
Proposition Five
If approved, more sports teams would be considered "professional," thus allowing more team-connected foundations to hold raffles to benefit them.
Proposition Six
If approved, the surviving spouses of first responders who were killed in the line of duty their property tax exemptions.
Proposition Seven
If approved, banks and other similar institutions would be allowed to hold promotional activities to encourage savings.
