Man Flees With Daughter After Crashing Car During Police Pursuit

Police are looking for a man who crashed his car during a pursuit and took off on foot.

SPRING, TX — Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 43-year-old man who fled on foot with his 8-year-old daughter after leading police on a pursuit Thursday afternoon.

Deputies were trying to conduct a traffic stop in the 13600 block of North Freeway at Rankin Road, but the driver refused to stop.

Police said he crashed after a short pursuit at I-45 and Gulfbank, and bailed out of the car with his daughter. Police found the daughter a short time later at a relative’s home, but the driver is still on the run.
