FORT WORTH, TX —Spring native Simone Biles won her record seventh U.S. Gymnastics Championships all-around title Sunday night in Fort Worth, finishing with a score of 119.650, well ahead of second-place finisher Sunisa Lee (114.950) and third-place Jordan Chiles (114.450).
Biles, 24, also won on vault (31.025), balance beam (29.250) and floor exercise (29.600). The gymnast appears to be in good form as she prepares for the Tokyo Olympics, which are scheduled to begin July 23.
"It's really emotional, especially going into my second time doing an Olympic run, it's really crazy," Biles told The New York Times. "It's been a lot of fun. But it's been a lot of stress, too"

Biles now has won every all-around competition she has entered since 2013. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Biles won gold medals in the all-around, on vault and floor, and she was part of the U.S. team that captured gold.
On Friday, the opening day of the championships, Biles made a few uncharacteristic mistakes, stepping out of bounds three times on floor. She led Lee by 2.2 points entering Sunday's final round, but stretched the advantage to 4.7 points by competition's end.

Biles won without even attempting the Yurchenko double pike vault. She became the first gymnast in history to land the trick at last month's U.S. Classic in Indianapolis.
