2Cellos Performs At Smart Financial Center Feb. 17

SUGAR LAND, TX — This isn't your great-great- grandpa's chamber music. In fact, no one knew that cellos could perform cover music quite like this, but 2Cellos nails it, and their fans know it.

Fans of the Croatian duo will be in for a treat when 2Cellos brings the Let There Be Cello tour to Sugar Land's Smart Financial Centre Feb. 17.

Classically trained cellists Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser met as teenagers while pursuing their own musical interests. They stayed in touch and united again, both with the same passion for classical music blended with modern.

Since that reunion in 2011, the pair have combined their amazing talents into a collection of five albums, which includes familiar hits such as Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal, and AC/DC's Thunderstruck.

The 2Cellos launched their US tour at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. Shows continue throughout the country, with a final performance in Orlando, Florida at the Amway Center. Other states with concert dates include Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Missouri, Minnesota, and on through the Southern states and New York area.
