FB Marshall, Shadow Creek Fall In State Title Game
Galena Park North Shore hopes to come home with state championship this weekend, after Marshall and Shadow Creek both lost their state bid.

HOUSTON, TX — The season ended in disappointment for Fort Bend Marshall Friday night with the Buffaloes losing their only game of the 2018 season. The Buffaloes fell 55-19 to Aledo in the State 5A Division II game at AT&T Stadium.
The Marshall Buffaloes were playing for more than just a state crown, after losing teammate Drew Conley who was shot to death during a family dispute at his home.
The team had dedicated the remainder of their season to his memory, but it was not enough to win against the powerful Aledo Bearcats, who’d been on a roll of their own.

But were still two team from the Bayou City with aspirations of a state title.

On Saturday, the Pearland Shadow Creek Sharks hoped to make a bit of history, after advancing to the State 5A Division game in their first full year of varsity ball.
The Highland Park Scots had other plans, and defeated the Sharks 27-17 at AT&T Stadium.
The North Shore Mustangs, who kick off against Duncanville at 7 p.m., have been the powerhouse team this season, notching one convincing win after another.
They will try and notch their last win of the 2018 season when the play Duncanville for the 6A Division I crown at AT&T Stadium.
