City Of Sugar Land: Railroad Crossing Closures –US 90 At Gillingham And Eldridge

The City, working in conjunction with Union Pacific Railroad, will be closing two railroad crossings at US 90 in order to repair asphalt pavement on the approaches and between the tracks. The closures will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Dates and locations will be as follows:

Motorists will be directed to detour along Lakeview Dr.  and to adjacent roadways. This project is part of the annual pavement repair program and is funded through the Streets and Drainage operating budget.

Residents are asked to follow detour directions, be mindful of work crews, and avoid the area if possible. Visit its.sugarlandtx.gov for more information on Sugar Land travel data.
