Fort Bend Bank Robbed
A Bank of America in the Katy area was robbed on Thursday, police are seeking information.
Katy, TX -- At 12:25 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a Bank of America, located in the 6800 block of South Fry Road at Seven Meadows Parkway in the Katy area.
Deputies were told a man entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money. The subject said he was carrying a weapon and threatened the teller to comply with his demands.
The suspect is a white male in his 20's, about 5'10" and maybe 160 lbs. He has a thin, dark mustache and was wearing a loose plaid shirt, with a white undershirt and a Texas A & M ball cap.

Authorities believe he may be connected to other bank or cash advance robberies in the area.
