Fort Bend Chamber Delegation Planning Trip To State Capitol
Fort Bend County Day will focus on many critical issues affecting the community including infrastructure, economic development, and more.

SUGAR LAND, TX — The Central Fort Bend Chamber, Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber of Commerce, Fort Bend Economic Development Council, Fort Bend County and city leaders, business owners and citizens will travel to Austin on Feb. 20, to meet with members of the state legislature and key state agencies to discuss issues affecting Fort Bend County.
Fort Bend County Day will focus on many critical issues affecting our community including infrastructure, economic development, education and healthcare.

largest community in the Houston metropolitan area.
We hope to:

- Communicate needs and issues of particular interest affecting Fort Bend County
- Educate and involve the local citizens regarding the legislative actions which affect the community.
- Establish a positive two-way working relationship with legislators, legislative staff andagency personnel.
The day will include bus transportation to Austin, a group photograph at the Capitol, recognition from the House and Senate floor, a presentation from Texas General Land Office Commissioner George P. Bush, a legislative panel during lunch at Max’s Wine Dive sponsored by Allen Boone Humphries and Robinson, LLP and a visit with legislators.
We will end our day with an evening cocktail reception at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel with Fort Bend County Judge KP George and statewide delegation sponsored by TDECU.
