Fort Bend Chamber To Host Panel On Immigration And The Economy

Learn how the county's racial and cultural diversity impact the overall economy during this panel discussion on April 11.

SUGAR LAND, TX — The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce will host a panel discussion on April 11 on the county's diversity and the economic impact of immigration. Fort Bend County has been called the most perfectly balanced ethnically diverse county in America.

Recent data will be presented from our panel of speakers as they dive deep into how this population shift has effected the economy in Fort Bend County.

Rehan Alimohammad of Wong Fleming, Chelsie Kramer of the New American Economy and Stan Marek of Marek Companies make up the panel and Fort Bend County Judge KP George will present closing remarks.

This Community Initiative of the Fort Bend Chamber has been sponsored by the Fort Bend Global Initiatives and will be held at the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, office located at 445 Commerce Green Blvd., Sugar Land, from 11:30 – 1:00 PM.

Registration is open and lunch will be provided. Member Registration is $25 and Prospective Member Registration is $35.
