Fort Bend Chamber Hosts HR Event

SUGAR LAND TX -- The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce’s Business & Professional Division is hosting “HR in Alignment: Aligning Your Organization’s HR Efforts with you Strategic Business Goals,” at the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, 445 Commerce Green Blvd., Sugar Land on Wednesday, May 24, from 11:30 am – 1 pm. This workshop will address some of the biggest opportunities the most important personnel issues that organizations overlook such as:

• Does your organization have the correct policies and procedures in place to reduce the litigation risk associated with HR policies and practices?
• Do you understand what motivates your employees and do you have a compensation structure in place that will generate the results you are hoping to achieve? - Does your organization have proper documentation in place if/when it is sued due to HR issues? Have your Managers been trained?
• How familiar are you with the trends changing DOL rules and regulations; What are the top compliance trends to watch?
• Is HR involved in your organization’s strategic planning process?
