Fort Bend Chamber Hosts 'An Inside Look: School Boards with Kristin Tassin'
Kristin Tassin is a 20-year attorney and currently serves as the Board President of the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees.

SUGAR LAND, TX -- The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce’s Education Division will host An Inside Look: School Boards with Kristin Tassin on Friday, March 10, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.
Kristin Tassin is a 20-year attorney and currently serves as the Board President of the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees. She is a long-time volunteer in FBISD schools where she was founding PTO President of a Title I school, chaired fundraising and social event committees and served as a mentor. As a member of the FBISD Board of Trustees, Kristin is an advocate for FBISD students in particular and public education in general, and has served as chair for an education district advisory committee for one of FBISD’s representatives. Prior to being elected to the Board, Kristin was managing partner of her own law firm, Dry & Tassin, PLLC, where she practiced Intellectual Property and Special Education Law.

The Education Division of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce is under the leadership of Chairman, Jim Rice, Rice & Gardner Consultants. The mission of the Education Division is to provide a critical link between the academic and business sectors in the county by engaging community leaders to build awareness of the positive impact of education. Through monthly events, the division brings informational and educational topics that help community leaders and educators further invest into the advancement of education.
