The program, "Small Business Outreach: How the U.S. Small Business Administration Can Help Your Business," will take place on July 13.

From the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce: The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the American Ismaili Chamber of Commerce, Greater Houston Black Chamber, and Indo-American Chamber of Commerce is hosting “Small Business Outreach: How the U.S. Small Business Administration Can Help Your Business,” at the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, 445 Commerce Green Blvd., Sugar Land on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.
THIS PROGRAM WILL REVIEW SBA’S “4-C’S” FOR SUPPORTING BUSINESSES
- Capital – How we help businesses find the money they need to start and grow. We have many ways of making financing available, cheaper, and more suited to the small business…not just bank loans.
- Counseling – In the Houston District we have arranged for roughly 250 people that provide free mentoring and counseling to small businesses, as well as low-cost but high quality training.
- Contracting – We help businesses grow by working directly with them to access federal contracts. We do this many ways…a local success story is a very small firm that earned over $100M in federal business over a 9 year period and added 200 employees in 5 states.
- Crisis – When the next big flood or hurricane hits, SBA will be a part of the disaster relief effort. We have special low-cost loans to help homeowners and businesses rebuild, and other services and programs to help ensure a successful recovery.
