Fort Bend County Sheriff Looking for BB Gun Bandits

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is looking for a group of people terrorizing people with a BB gun.

MISSOURI CITY, TX — The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is just about over some asinine behavior that's been going on in the Sienna Plantation neighborhood. It seems that a group of people have been engaging in some jackassery with a BB gun.

Over the course of nine days, Aug. 19-27, the perpetrators allegedly committed at least six different attacks against people of all ages. The attacks that have been reported so far include:

Aug. 19 a male victim riding a bicycle is struck by a BB or pellet in the leg
Aug. 22 a young man is threatened with the gun, the perpetrators fire three times in the air
Aug. 23 a man is shot in the shoulder while walking his dog
Aug. 27 a woman walking on a trail is approached by someone brandishing the gun
Aug. 27 a 12-year-old boy is hit with a BB on the left side of his body
Aug. 27 a separate boy is threatened while riding his bike

In all of the cases the perpetrators were driven to and from the scene of the attack in a black sedan. Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy E. Nehls is not taking this crime spree lightly.

“This maybe BB guns, but under the law, these people face an aggravated assault charge," Nehls said. "We need the community’s help in identifying them. Get a license plate, a vehicle description, whatever it takes. We want to get these thugs off the streets.”
