Fort Bend Shelter Hopes Dogs Find Homes Before They Are Put Down

Earlier this week, Fort Bend County Animal Services issued an online appeal for 16 dogs that have been housed at the shelter the longest.

ROSENBERG, TX — The clock is ticking for more than a dozen dogs being held at Fort Bend County Animal Services who are in danger of being euthanized if they are not adopted of fostered by the end of this weekend.

Earlier this week, Fort Bend County Animal Services issued an online appeal for 16 dogs that have been housed at the shelter the longest, adding the animals to their PUSH list. So far, two have been adopted or taken in by a foster until the adoption is final, but there are still others that need a home.

The dogs in need of homes by June 2 include Buster, whose previous owner requested that the dog be put down, and Rainey and Trip who are a couple of playful and energetic pups.
