Parents can pick up free school supplies at a back to school fair in Richmond on July 30.
RICHMOND, TX — Looking to stretch that dollar? Trying to find a way to save on school supplies?
Lamar Consolidated Independent School District is giving away school supplies at the Hope on the Brazos Back to School Fair.
The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, at Common Threads in the Old Jane Long Gym, 414 Ninth St., in Richmond.

One backpack with school supplies will be given to each school-aged (Kindergarten through Twelfth grade) child. The offer is valid while supplies last and the children must be present to claim their backpack.
The fair will also have giveaways, face painting and popcorn. Local healthcare providers will discuss nutrition, dental care and safety.
