Jogger In Mission Bend Finds 5 Puppies In A Suitcase

Animal Control officials said the 5 puppies appear to be a German Shepherd-Husky mix and will be ready for adoption soon.

MISSION BEND, TX — A woman jogging in a park near Mission Bend discovered a zippered suitcase with five puppies inside, animal control officials said. The discovery was made Thursday at about 7 a.m.

The jogger said the bag was unzipped, according to a KPRC report. Officials from Fort Bend Animal Services arrived at the park and took the puppies to their facility.

Animal control officials said the puppies appear to be a German Shepherd-Husky mix and will be available for adoption soon.
