Katy Boy Who Ran Away To Protest Being Grounded Is Found Safe
Benjamin, 9, was so upset about being grounded that he ran away with his piggy bank and backpack, police said.

KATY, TX — A 9-year-old boy who became angry and ran away from home with his piggy bank was found safe, police said. The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said in a statement Tuesday that the boy they identified as Benjamin, was upset over being grounded by his parents and left the home with his piggy bank and backpack.
Police said Benjamin left his home on Cinco Terrace near FM 1093 around 7 p.m., sparking a search in the area by his parents and police.
Benjamin was found safe at about midnight, police said.
