Memorial Day 2018: What's Closed In Fort Bend County

SUGAR LAND, TX — Memorial Day is a federal holiday, which means residents in Fort Bend County can expect all municipal services to be closed on Monday.

Essential services such as police, fire and ambulance services will be available, and hospitals will operate as normal.
The following offices will be closed on Monday:

• City Offices in Sugar Land, Richmond/Rosenberg, Stafford, Missouri City, Fulshear, and Katy
• All Fort Bend County Offices, except the Sheriff's Office
• All Municipal Courts, County Courts, State Courts and Federal Courts
• All State and Federal Offices
• School districts in Fort Bend, and Katy ISD
• Banks and Post Offices

Non-essential services, such as trash and recycling pickup, schools, mail services, banks, and courts will resume on Tuesday.

What's Open?

Grocery stores, retailers, parks and tons of entertainment venues.
