Rain Forces Rosenberg To Move Christmas Tree Lighting To Saturday
The threat of rain on Friday night force the City of Rosenberg to change the official Christmas tree lighting to Saturday.

ROSENBERG, TX -- The weather forecast for Friday has all but guaranteed a rain-soaked evening, and that has forced the City of Rosenberg to change its plans for the annual Rosenberg Christmas Nights Celebration.
However, with a few tweaks to the schedule, the free family event will still go on. It's just happening a day later than expected.
The Christmas Tree Lighting that was scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday will be moved to Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at the 3rd Street Art Park in Historic Downtown, but Santa will still be on-hand for indoor photos Friday night at the Railroad Museum and Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on 3rd Street near the Christmas Tree.

For those who have purchased tickets for “Dinner Under the Stars”, this event has also been moved indoors.

The City of Rosenberg wishes everyone a safe, happy, and dry holiday.
