Rep. Pete Olson Visits Students at the Honor Roll School®

Third graders participated in a question and answer session with the congressman on Nov. 28

On Monday, Nov. 28, third grade students from The Honor Roll School in Sugar Land welcomed Rep. Pete Olson for a town hall-style question and answer session. The congressman spoke to the third graders about the responsibilities of each branch of the United States government.

Rep. Olson’s visit was an opportunity for students to learn more about how our government and the voting process work. During the election cycle and prior to Rep. Olson’s visit, students learned about the government and completed projects, including posters and informative essays about a branch or representative of their choice.
