Richmond Pushes Back Road Closure Of FM 359
Officials said the closure was needed to complete the upcoming traffic switch onto the new bridge structure at FM 359 and US 90A.

RICHMOND, TX — City officials announced Monday that construction crews will be pushing back the closing of FM 359 between US 90A and River Trace Drive from the weekend of Oct. 5, to the weekend of Oct. 19. Those sections will close down at 9 p.m,. on Oct. 19 and remain closed through 5 a.m. on Oct. 22.
Officials said the closure was needed to complete the upcoming traffic switch onto the new bridge structure at FM 359 and US 90A. Richmond Police will have a unit at River Trace to help with traffic control during the street closure.
Traffic will be 2 way on each side of FM 359 so please stay to the right and travel down the side of FM 359 where your property is located. Officials said any motorist who is unsure of where to go should ask the officer on duty.

For Detours:
- From US 90-A, take Harlem Road northbound towards Grand Parkway, turn left on Grand Parkway toward Mason Road, turn left on Mason Road to FM 359, which turns into FM 359, to access US 90A.
- From FM-359 Northbound, take Mason Road towards Grand Parkway, turn right on Grand Parkway to Harlem Road, then turn right on Harlem Road to access US 90A.
