Rosenberg Cancels Family Fourth Celebration
Rosenberg's Family Fourth Celebration at Seabourne Creek Nature Park call off fire work due to inclement weather

ROSENBERG, TX -- Due to safety concerns caused by weather and damp grounds, the City of Rosenberg has canceled the Family Fourth Celebration.
The fireworks show is rescheduled for the opening day of the Fort Bend County Fair, which will allow citizens to attend the fair and see the fireworks at the same time.

“We are disappointed that the rain will cause us to have to cancel,” Civic Center and Events Manager, Carrie Kmiec said. “We are truly sorry for the inconvenience, and we urge citizens to watch the website and follow us on social media so that we can give them updates and reminders as the reschedule day gets closer.”
Several communities have canceled their Independence Day fireworks, due to the threat or inclement weather.

Tomball canceled its annual street festival while Katy and Galena Park canceled their morning events and plan an evening fireworks display.
The Woodlands canceled their South Montgomery County Parade during the daytime, but still plans to have fireworks as well.
