RICHMOND, TX — The storms that dumped up between 2-5 inches of rain in some areas of Houston also impacted the removal of trash and solid waste for residents in Fort Bend County.
On Friday, Republic Services reported delays for picking up solid waste and recycling in area neighborhoods, which were shared on Twitter feed through the City of Sugar Land and in an email blast through the City of Richmond.
With the rain that is expected overnight, residents are asked not to place their garbage and recycling carts at the curb tonight but to wait until tomorrow morning before 7 a.m. Any delays in Friday’s collection service will be provided as it becomes available.
