Substitute Teacher Filmed Pornographic Videos In Class: Cops

The unidentified teacher may not be criminally charged since the self-made videos only involved her, prosecutors said.

EL CAMPO, TX — A substitute teacher accused of recording pornographic videos of herself inside El Campo High School and uploading them to a website has been terminated, school district officials said.

According to police, the videos were produced in a classroom and the school’s workroom. None of the videos involved students or other staff members, district officials said in a statement.

The school district learned of the videos last week after an anonymous tipster sent one of the videos to the El Campo High School principal, who then alerted police, KTRK reported.

The substitute teacher, who has not been identified, had only worked for the district a few months, was fired, officials said.

However, the teacher may not be prosecuted. The El Campo police inquired about the case with the Wharton County DA’s Office, who said a crime had not been committed, according to a Houston Chronicle report.
