Sugar Land Celebrates Rescheduled Earth Day This Saturday
The city of Sugar Land will hold its rescheduled Earth Day celebration this Saturday at Sugar Land Town Square.
SUGAR LAND, TX — The City of Sugar Land will host its annual Earth Day celebration this Saturday, officials announced on Friday. The original event scheduled for April 13, was rescheduled because of heavy rain.
Sugar Land's Earth Day Celebration -Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rock - will be held from noon to 4 p.m., on the plaza at Sugar Land Town Square.
This year, the city will have live performances by Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse. This green-minded high energy performance is certain to be an Earth Day blast. Along with the amazing music, there will be a host of activity booths of environmentally friendly activities, as well as more live performances planned throughout the afternoon.

Enjoy eco-friendly displays and demonstrations, interactive games and educational booths from many local organizations.

- Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse will perform at 12:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
- Reptile shows by Texas Snakes & More will be held at 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
Returning to this year's Earth Day Celebration are Nutty Scientist and Nature & Eclectic Outdoors aka NEO.
NEO will offer outdoor education using diverse activities like fishing tournaments, life-size games and more.
