Sugar Land Parks and Rec Hosting Open House Aug. 17

The Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department will be hosing an open house to review the city's new master plan on Aug. 17.

SUGAR LAND, TX — There are few things more indicative of the quality of life in a city than parks, because of that how parks are used and developed is an often times passionate subject.

People who enjoy the outdoors will be keen to stop by Sugar Land City Hall, 2700 Town Center Blvd., on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for an open house and workshop on the city's new master plan for parks and open spaces.

The workshop will provide residents a chance to look through the proposed plan and provide the city's Parks and Recreation Department with feedback about what the city should be including in parks moving forward over the next few years.
