Sugar Land Post Office to be Renamed
A post office in Sugar Land will be renamed for a fallen marine.

SUGAR LAND, TX — Who says nothing gets done in Congress these days? Sure, immigration reform, Supreme Court nominees and deficit reduction are all stalled until the end of the year, but Congress did vote to rename a post office in Sugar Land.
Back on March 23, U.S. Rep. Pete Olson, R-Sugar Land, introduced a bill to rename the post office at 3130 Grants Lake Blvd in Sugar Land in honor of LCpl Garret W. Gamble, USMC to honor a local boy who joined the Corps and died in Afghanistan in 2010.
The bill was passed and signed into law by President Barack Obama on July 29.
