Sweet Water? Sugar Land Has Best Water In The U.S., Survey Says

A survey from the American Water Works Association says Sugar Land has some high quality H2O

SUGAR LAND, TX — Sugar Land has the best-tasting H2O in the U.S. and the second best in North America, according to the American Water Works Association.

The results of this refreshing survey were revealed by Sugar Land city leaders during the July 2 council meeting.

Sugar Land competed against 28 other water samples across the U.S., which were chosen by their state, according to Community Impact News in Sugar Land.

Earlier this year, Sugar Land was chosen by American Water Works Association as the best tasting water in Texas.

The top spot in North America for the best tasting water went to The Blue Mountain, Ontario, Canada.

Other communities that also rated high for good-tasting water included:

  • Bozeman, Montana
  • Lynnwood, Washington
  • Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania
  • Pueblo, Colorado
  • Ames, Iowa.
