Thieves Use Stolen Mail For $20K Shopping Spree In Sugar Land
Sugar Land Police said a man and a woman used information stolen from mail boxes to buy $20K in items at Sam's Club.

SUGAR LAND, TX — Sugar Land police are looking for two people who went on a spending spree using stolen credit card information. Police said the two people, a man and a woman, were using credit card information that were created from mail that was reported stolen from mail boxes in the Sugar Creek subdivision in February and April.
Detectives believe the mail was stolen from at least four residential mailboxes in Sugar Land was used to order credits cards.
Surveillance footage recorded a man and a woman using the fraudulent cards to purchase a Sam's Club membership, and them use the credit cards to buy more than $20,000 worth of merchandise that included electronics, groceries and gift cards at various Sam's Club stores in the area.

Two suspects were identified from surveillance video inside the stores, and a suspect vehicle was seen on cameras at one of the homes targeted by the thieves in the Sugar Creek subdivision.
The man was black, 25-35 years old, 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighed approximately 175-200 pounds.

The woman was black, 25-35 years old, 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighed about 120 to 140 pounds. Both were seen in what appears to be a grey or silver 2015-2017 Nissan Rogue.
