Traffic Alert: Crews Closing Gessner Road At U.S. 90A Wednesday
Road work at Gessner and 90A will impact traffic on Wednesday as crews work to repair sections of the railroad track in the area.
MISSOURI CITY, TX — City crews and crews from Union Pacific Railroad will be performing emergency repair to a section of track at Gessner Road and U.S. 90A.
Missouri City officials said a portion of Gessner Road will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 6 as part of work, deemed emergency track maintenance to repair the roadway at the railroad crossing at Gessner Road and U.S. 90 A.
The repair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the roadway will be closed at the railroad crossing in both directions. Traffic delays are expected and motorists are advised to use caution while traveling in the area.
Traffic control devices will be set up with detour routes via Cravens Road and Staffordshire Road. See detailed map below:
