U.S. Rep Al Green's Office Burglarized, Police Say
Democrat Al Green's office was one of four offices targeted by burglars early Thursday, police said.

HOUSTON, TX — The southwest Houston office of U.S. Congressman Al Green made the Houston Police Department blotter when several burglars broke through a wall and into his and several other offices.
The burglary was reported just before 9 a.m. Thursday in the 3000 block of the South Loop West in southwest Houston.
Green said several offices in the building were also targeted by the burglars, but it’s not known if anything was taken from any of the offices.

Green, who represents residents in the 9th Congressional District in Harris, Brazoria, and Fort Bend counties, called for the impeachment of President Donald Trump in 2017 after news of alleged Russian collusion surfaced.
The break-in does not appear to be politically motivated, officials said.
