SUGAR LAND, TX -- Wong Fleming, one of the largest minority owned firms in the U.S., is expanding its footprint into Texas.

The office, with 4 attorneys, in Sugar Land, Texas will be led by Partners Rehan Alimohammad and Tariq Zafar.

The office will allow Wong Fleming to further assist the needs of the firm’s multinational clients with a business presence in Texas.

The Texas office is headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, one of the most affluent and fastest growing cities in Texas.

Partner Rehan Alimohammad, in charge of immigration and tax law matters, currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee for the State Bar of Texas.

He also serves on the Executive Committee and as Legal Counsel for the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, and Vice President for the Katy Bar Association.

Partner Tariq Zafar, in charge of commercial litigation and corporate transactions, serves on the Board of Directors for Accesshealth and recently received the Ursula Coates Chairman’s award for dedicated service to the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.

Senior Associate Farrah Najmuddin Lang handles commercial litigation and family law. She has served as an intern on the First Court of Appeals and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

Associate Meghna Patel handles commercial litigation and estate planning.
