All Charges Dropped In Waco Shootout That Left 9 Dead
The Twin Peaks shooting left roughly 20 people injured as well.

WACO, TX — All charges have been dropped in the 2015 shootout that left nine people dead and roughly 20 injured in the deadliest biker shooting in U.S. history. McLennan County District Attorney Barry Johnson released a statement calling any further prosecution a "waste of time, effort and resources," the Associated Press reported.
"In my opinion, had this action been taken in a timely manner, it would have, and should have, resulted in numerous convictions and prison sentences against many of those who participated in the Twin Peaks brawl," Johnson said. "Over the next three years the prior district attorney failed to take that action, for reasons that I do not know to this day."
The shooting happened May 17, 2015, between members of the Bandidos and Cossacks biker gangs. Dozens of firearms, knives, and other weapons were confiscated following the shooting. Of the 177 bikers arrested, 155 were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, the AP added.
