Waco Band Hits High Note: Wins UIL Marching Contest
The Waco High School Band earned a Division ONE Rating and will be advancing to the AREA "F" Marching competition on Oct. 28
From Waco ISD: On Saturday, Oct. 21, the Waco High School "LION PRIDE" Band traveled to Midway ISD to compete in the UIL Region 8 marching contest.
We are are pleased to announce the band earned a Division ONE Rating and will be advancing to the AREA "F" Marching competition on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Birdville ISD in Haltom City, Texas.
The Area F 5A Marching Contest will be hosted by the BISD School district and run by all three Birdville High Schools.
Please join the Waco High Band staff in congratulating these students on their outstanding accomplishment, and in representing Waco ISD and Waco High School, where "LION PRIDE RUNS DEEP" and "HARD WORK PAYS OFF".
