2 Workers Hurt When Woodlands Mansion Burns
A mansion in The Woodlands was destroyed and two workers were hurt during a fire Thursday evening
THE WOODLANDS, TX — Two men were injured Thursday evening when a multi-million dollar mansion erupted in flames. The fire was reported at about 5:30 p.m. at a home next to The Woodlands Country Club, at 26 Palmer Crest in the Village of Cochran's Crossing.
Officials from The Woodlands Fire Department said no one was at home at the time, and that the two men who were injured were construction workers. Fire officials said the men were taken to a nearby hospital and their condition was not known.
About 15 fire units and 60 firefighters from The Woodlands responded, and were assisted by other agencies, officials said.

Investigators said the nearly 8,000-square-foot mansion is likely a total loss. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
