5 Restaurants Open for Thanksgiving in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Thanksgiving falls on Nov. 24, which means celebrations are just around the corner. Patch, in the spirit of felicity and reunion, shares a list of five restaurants where friends and families in The Woodlands area can keep the good times rolling without the added stress of cooking.

• Fogo de Chão, an upscale, Brazilian chain, continues its Thanksgiving tradition on Nov. 24 with a feast from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with menu items including fire-roasted meats carved table-side, roasted turkey breast with au jus, homemade cranberry relish, Brazilian sausage with apple dressing and sweet potato casserole. This meal comes complimentary for children age 6 and younger and is half-priced for children ages 7-12.

• Fleming's Steakhouse welcomes empty stomachs and full hearts to celebrate Thanksgiving with a four-course, prix fixe meal that features traditional favorites for $39.95 per adult, beginning at 11 a.m. Children dine for $19.95.

• Américas offers a Thanksgiving brunch special, featuring holiday favorites with an Américas twist: pumpkin and chorizo empanadas, cinnamon-spiced cranberry sangria, roasted tenderloin, aji pepper-rubbed turkey, maple-glazed ham and other Américas classics.

• Landry's Seafood House, overlooking the Waterway and located just moments from the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, invites residents to let Landry's do the cooking and, in turn, receive a $25 gift card. The full turkey dinner includes—but is not limited to—sliced ham with pineapple glaze, giblet gravy, a vegetable medley, fresh-baked rolls, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, serving four to six guests for $159.99.

• Hubbell & Hudson wants families to take the stress out of preparing a Thanksgiving meal by picking up prepackaged sides between Monday, Nov. 21 and Wednesday, Nov. 23. Options include chimichurri-marinated turkey breast with sherry gravy or a Texas barbecue-braised turkey leg and thigh with Texas Bourbon barbecue sauce; fairytale pumpkin bisque with brown butter cream, prosciutto and crispy sage; roasted, garlic, mashed potatoes with green-bean almondine; roasted poblano cornbread stuffing with breakfast sausage and sage-roasted, butternut squash; Hubbell & Hudson macaroni and cheese, and the list goes on.
