Barbecue Fest Coming to The Woodlands
The Woodlands will hold its first barbecue festival on Sept. 25.

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Sunday, Sept. 25, promises to be a great day for fans of smoked meats. The inaugural the Woodlands BBQ Fest will kick off with more than a dozen of the Houston-area's best pitmasters plying their wares.
The event will be at Town Green Park in the Woodlands and tickets are $60 for general admission, which allows people to get their grub on from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. VIPs who want to be able to suck down some sauce from noon to 5 p.m. will need to cough up $120. The VIP tickets include a t-shirt and two drink tickets.
The festival lineup isn't set in stone yet, but the organizers have announced a strong lineup of local talent that will be firing up the grill. Corkscrew BBQ from Spring; Tejas Chocolate in Tomball; Tin Roof from Atascosita and the Brisket House from Houston will all be representing at the festival.
