Burglary Suspect Evades Police During Manhunt In Spring
Brandon Herring, 24, of Houston, faces multiple burglary charges after a witness saw him kicking in a door on Saturday, police said.

SPRING, TX -- A 24-year-old man was arrested Saturday after witnesses reported seeing him kicking in a door an at area apartment complex. Brandon Herring was arrested and is charged with three counts of burglar of a habitation, and one count of burglar of a building.
Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the 1900 block of Sawdust Road on Saturday for a trespassing report.
A witness called 911 and said he saw a white male kick in a door of a building. The male suspect fled on foot with deputies quickly establishing a perimeter around his last known location.

A DPS helicopter along with Montgomery County K9 were dispatched to help in the search for the suspect.

After an extensive search causing several roadways to be closed and numerous yards of residences to be checked, the suspect, who was identified as Herring, was found hiding underneath a vehicle at 1835 Woodland Field Crossing.

During the preliminary investigation Deputies believed this to be the same suspect that kicked in the back door of a residence in the Timber Lakes Timber Ridge Subdivision a day earlier, but got away.
Police said Herring could be linked to several other "kick door" burglaries in the area.
Herring is being held in the Montgomery County Jail, with bond set at $10,000 for each of the burglary of habitation charges, $1,500 for a burglary of a building charge, and $750 for evading arrest and detention.
