Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Holding Snapchat Geofilter Contest

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is holding an open contest to design specific geofilters for the venue.

THE WOODLANDS, TX — The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is holding a design contest to create venue-specific geofilters for Snapchat. The filters are location activated designs that can be used within Snapchat.

The designs should be based around three themes: a night at the pavilion, lawn life and pit perks. Artists may submit multiple designs for one or more categories. All designs must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14.

After the designs are submitted, pavilion staff will select the top three designs from each category. The final selections will be posted to the venue's Facebook page, with the number of likes and shares determining which designs are the winners.

Although the winner or winners won't be compensated monetarily, or with free tickets or with an opportunity to work for the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion or Live Nation, he or she or they will gain exposure.

The winner or winners will be recognized at the Sound of Music Sing-A-Long on Aug. 27 and they'll be interviewed for The Pavilion Blog. Design credit will be given to the winner or winners on Live Nation's pre-concert advertising reel at all remaining 2016 shows.
