Hardy Toll Road to Completely Close

The Hardy Toll Road will be completely closed from noon on Friday, July 15, until 5 a.m. Monday, July 18.

The Woodlands, TX -- The Hardy Toll Road will be completely closed from noon on Friday, July 15, to 5 a.m. on Monday, July 18. The closure will allow the Harris County Toll Road Authority to finish converting the toll toad to all electronic tolling.

The complete closure of the Hardy Toll Road will include the Hardy North plaza, the Hardy South plaza and the Airport Connector. All entrance ramps to the Hardy Toll Road, including those from I-45, Beltway 8 and 610, will also be closed.

The road closure will impact all lanes of the Hardy Toll Road and the Hardy Airport Connector in both directions. Construction will begin on Thursday night at 8 p.m.

When construction begins, the cash lanes will be closed and all traffic on the various parts of the Hardy Toll Road will be diverted to the EZ TAG lanes. While traffic is being diverted all tolls will be waived.

On Monday morning, the Harris County Toll Road authority plans to open the connector between the Hardy Toll Road and State Highway 99/Grand Parkway.
