THE WOODLANDS, TX —Lone Star College, The Woodlands-based school that features several educational centers in the Houston-area, announced Tuesday that it will offer more face-to-face classes in the fall, while also continuing to provide hybrid and online courses.
According to release, LSC students will have three class options in the fall:
- In-person classes that take place entirely on campus.
- Hybrid classes that are a combination of online and face-to-face learning.
- Online classes that provide flexible and convenient choice for busy schedules and freedom to self-direct.
"We know the last year put a serious strain on our students, faculty and staff,” said Stephen C. Head, LSC chancellor. "Lone Star College has worked hard to ensure we provide a safe and friendly environment as we welcome everyone back to our campuses."

Head said that in addition to in-person classes, LSC will provide face-to-face tutoring and advising to help students prepare for the fall semester.
Additionally, LSC is working with students impacted by COVID-19, providing special financial aid grants that may be used for anything from tuition to emergency costs like: food, housing healthcare, mental healthcare or childcare. The school also has purchased laptop computers for students, which can be checked out similar to a library book.
