Montgomery County I-45 HOV Lanes Will Open Mid-September
TxDOT has announced that the HOV Lanes in Montgomery County will open int he middle of September.
THE WOODLANDS, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has delayed the opening of HOV lanes on I-45 in Montgomery County to the middle of September.
The HOV lanes run along I-45 from FM 1960 to South Loop 336 in Conroe, a stretch of about 18 miles.
The southbound lanes are scheduled to open on Sept. 15. The northbound lanes are scheduled to open a week later.

Both directions were scheduled to be open by June 1, but signage and weather related issues caused delays. The project cost about $2.6 million.
