Montgomery County Not Going to Enforce Red Light Camera Tickets
Montgomery County won't withhold vehicle registration over red light camera violations.
Conroe, TX -- The Montgomery County Tax Assessor-Collector's office has decided not to file withhold vehicle registration over red light camera violations. Tammy McRae, Montgomery County Tax Assessor-Collector, decided not to continue the scofflaw policy, flagged vehicle registrations that had a red light camera violation.
The decision only impacts vehicles that are registered in Montgomery County, motorists with vehicles registered outside of the county may still have their registration withheld depending upon their home county's policies.
