Shenandoah, TX -- Little children now have a park just for them. The city of Shenandoah recently opened a park designed specifically for toddlers.

The park, which is located at the former site of the city's first water treatment plant, was first proposed in 2007. As part of its design, the park features a swing set, spring rides, slide, rock wall and other playground equipment.

Shenandoah city hall is also considering turning two more parcels of city owned land into parks. Toddler Park, as it is known, is located at 801 Maplewood Dr.
