A suspicious vehicle report led to a drug bust in Spring, TX

SPRING, TX — Deputies from the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office responded to a suspicious vehicle call and wound up with a drug bust.
On the night of Aug. 27 deputies were dispatched to the 6500 block of Inway Drive and found that a suspicious vehicle had been reported stolen. While the deputies were recovering the car witnesses told them a woman had pulled up, allegedly dropped the vehicle off and walked across the street.
As deputies began their investigation they discovered that criminal activity was allegedly taking place at the same place that the female suspect had entered.

Investigators received and executed a search warrant for the residence on the morning of Aug. 28. When the cops went through the door they found five people allegedly with a few guns, some drugs and some stolen property.

Lawrence Lamar Simpson, 27, was arrested and is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance. He's being held on a combined $10,000 bond.
Marcus Edward Meek, 26, is also charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held on a combined bond of $12,000.
Paul Colton Thompson, 27, is charged with possession of a controlled substance. He is being held without bond.
Laurence Bradley Dube, 25, is charged with resisting arrest. He is being held on a $1,000 bond.
Lauren Krista White, 24, was arrested on Class C misdemeanor warrants.
