Tomball Announces Annual 'Christmas on Commerce' Celebration

Commerce Street of Tomball will be packed with live seasonal music from local schools and performers on December 10.

TOMBALL, TX -- Tomball’s annual Christmas on Commerce is coming December 10, 2016 with more holiday fun than ever before. Commerce Street from North Elm to Cherry Street will be packed with live seasonal music from local schools and performers, carolers and more. Scheduled to perform at Relics by the Railroad are Six String Music Academy, Tomball Elementary School, Tomball Junior High School, and the young performers of Annaco Productions. Singer John Armour and Christmas storyteller Sue Kuentz will perform throughout the afternoon beneath the SERVPRO tent.

There will be a petting zoo and kids zone for the little festival goers, and a Christmas train, too. Kids can create their own Christmas ornaments and holiday crafts at Santa’s Workshop, and shop for gifts from street vendors. Take your own photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus on the porch at Holle & Ivie beginning at 2 p.m.

More than 50 decorated ornamental lamp posts are on display throughout Commerce Street and the rest of downtown as a part of the annual Downtown Holiday Lamp Post Stroll.
