Tomball Man Arrested For Role In 2018 MS-13 Murder

Police say Oscar Arman Lozano Aparicio, 31,​ of Tomball, acted as a lookout during the murder of a rival gang member in July 2018.

HOUSTON — A Tomball man with ties to the notorious MS-13 criminal gang is the latest person to be charged with taking part in the brutal murder of a rival gang member in July 2018.

Oscar Arman Lozano Aparicio, 31, of Tomball who is originally from El Salvador, is the fifth MS-13 gang member to be arrested and charged with the murder of a rival gang member

According to prosecutors with the Harris County DA’s Office, Lozano Aparicio was acting as the look-out and the driver when gang members shot and hacked to death 24-year-old Jose Villanueza.

Police learned from an MS-13 gang member that Villanueza had engaged in a rap battle with MS-13 gang members and insulted Karla Morales, 18, who is part of the gang.

Morales told police she lured Villanueza to his death, with the promise of giving him a birthday present. His body was discovered in August next to Lewis Elementary School in Spring.

Villanueza was a member of the rival 18th Street gang, according to a Houston Chronicle report.
