Woodlands Diver Scores Spot on U.S. Olympic Team
Kassidy Cook, who grew up in The Woodlands landed a spot on the U.S. Olympic diving team.
The Woodlands, TX -- Kassidy Cook will be representing the U.S. in Rio this summer. Cook, 21, won the 3-meter competition at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials on Sunday, June 26.
She led the pack through the whole competition and won one of two spots on the team with a total score of 1,003.65. Cook, who grew up in The Woodlands, was unable to secure a spot on the 2012 team and then suffered multiple injuries.
